Large Centrepiece Plate (original pomegranate)

This elegant large plate was made by late Shoji Kudo who was one of the prominent figures in Tobe during "the 1960s revolution period".  This particular pomegranate reappears in Baizan studio's plates as Shoji taught the design to the craftsman at the studio. However on his smooth, polished and sublime white porcelain the pomegranate painted with the subtle paint strokes appears to be somewhat delicate and divine.
