This eye-grabbing large plate was created by late Shoji Kudo who was one of the prominent figures in Tobe during "the 1960s revolution period".  The choice of green on this plate is rather unique as the cobalt blue was his known colour, which makes the plate extremely rare and one of the kind.   Handcrafted, this plate features a mythical birds design, characterised by delicate yet radiating bold lines that evoke elaboration and harmony.
