The record temperature in May might have given us a false sense of long summer days but it seems like June has started with a more complex skyscape.  

June in Japan almost certainly makes a rainy season with arrivals of summer storms known as Typhoon.  As the weather in many parts of the world across the sea going rather wild, I wanted to introduce the month with this calm and serene object; celadon vase with wheelpool patterns by Youichi Nakamoto.  The band of  wheelpools are so vibrant that you can almost feel the delicate splashes of water yet at the same time the light shade of celadon gives a sesne of serenity.  This item will be soon available for the first time in the UK, we will let you know as soon as we get a confirmation of where-about you can see it in person (in vase!).
